The Rocket Summer,...

The Rocket Summer are going out on a headlining tour from April 25-June 3. You can expect to see Paramore, Nightmare of You, Brandtson, Daphne Loves Derby and Transition supporting legs of the tour. Expect more details and dates soon.

I went to see The Rocket Summer, Blackpool Lights, and Big City Rock last night in Ft. Lauderdale. It was a very enjoyable show. Having never heard Big City Rock, they were quite impressive and energetic; I even got a bit of a Springsteen vibe (blasphemy, I know!) from their singer. Their album comes out on Atlantic Records next week (unless it's changed), and I think I'll definitely be picking it up. Give them a listen if you haven't already.
