In honor of its 15th anniversary, you can read an oral history of Saves The Day's Through Being Cool on Wired.
At the time, the hardcore world was so anti-rock star. People said, “look at the album cover; you guys are selling out,” because it was this glossy image and we have our faces on there.

Vice has gone to ask a plethora of musicians their stance on the whole stage diving fiasco that has been brought to light by Joyce Manor's recent incidents. There's commentary from Max Bemis, Laura Jane Grace, Chris Conely, Jack Antonoff and just about everyone else. For some users, I highly suggest you read this and get some insight to the way people feel the way they do.
Pretty soon, I'm going to need to get my front teeth replaced. Playing in punk bands since I was 14-years-old, I've accepted the fact that every so often, a stagediver is going to kick a microphone into my teeth. Two years ago, we were playing a show in North Carolina, we were two songs from the end of the set, and I...

Awesome AP.net user, Boucher187, has uploaded some Saves the Day house show videos for our enjoyment.
So last year I was lucky enough to be able to get my buddies and get together enough cash to have Saves The Day play a "Pledge Show" at my house. I was finally able to get the videos and have them uploaded of the show. The band played for about 2 hours electric and it was the best time of my life. Would love to share these with the site as there are many Saves The Day fans. The band was the most laid back, personable people I've ever met.

Save The Day tweeted out that the band just played Can't Slow Down (a record that just turned 15 years old) from front to back for the first time. Could they have just been doing it for fun or is this something that might pop up in a future show? Would you be stoked if the band busted out these stone-cold classics on tour? I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
