J. Tillman (Fleet Foxes) will release a new solo album titled Fear Fun on May 1 via Sub Pop. It will be released under the new moniker of Father John Misty.

The label will be operated in the same offices as Sub Pop's for now and will be distributed by Sub Pop and ADA - it, however, is not an imprint label. According to Entertainment Weekly, a few top indie labels, including Vice, Matador, and Sub Pop, are teaming up to release a series of compilations in the vein of the extremely popular Now That's What I Call Music line. The compilations will feature bands such as Bloc Party, The Shins, and Cold War Kids.
