Hey everyone, we all realize that there has been a lack of updates, lack of tour dates and I guess overall lack of That Was Something. There is good reason for this because there is a light at the end of this tunnel. That Was Something started as kids in high school pursuing their dreams, we have toured the U.S numerous times, released 5 cd's and have had the time of our lives. It sounds so cliche but we honestly could have never done it without the amazing people that have helped us along the way. It does sound like this is going somewhere dark and sad. Hey guys! We are just so excited for what's to come in that was something land. We have written a bundle of by far the most creative songs that we've ever written. In a month from today we are heading into the studio to record with Rob Freeman. He is someone that we've looked up to since we were kids playing in a garage and to have the pleasure of recording with him, is something that we are super stoked on. That Was Something has posted a new song on their myspace.

That Was Something's brand new record, BEARS!, is now available on iTunes.

We have a brand new ABSOLUTExclusive featuring Michigan's own That Was Something. The band recorded these songs for their debut record, BEARS!, which is due out on February 26th (digitally this Tuesday). They were recorded by Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, Circa Survive) and the final track features Ben Liebsch of You, Me, And Everyone We Know. Head over to their APdotnet Profile to hear the tracks.

You can now pre-order That Was Something's brand new record entitled BEARS! It will be available February 26th on Oort Records. Although, you'll be able to get it digitally on February 12th.

That Was Something's new album, BEARS!, will be released February 12th, 2008 on Oort Records.

That Was Something has announced that special guests, AJ Perdomo (of The Dangerous Summer), Ben Liebsch (of You, Me, And Everyone We Know) and Katie Kolos (of Rosematter) will be contributing guest vocals to their upcoming record, BEARS! They also have just finished the album artwork which can be seen in the replies. The record is due out in February of 2008.

Recent Oort Records signee's That Was Something will be heading into the studio with Paul Leavitt(All Time Low, The Dangerous Summer) on November 7th to record their label debut, BEARS!
