Deerhoof have announced their touring plans for early next year to coincide with the release of their new album, Friend Opportunity, out on Kill Rock Stars on January 23rd, 2007.
San Francisco "arcade rockers" Karate High School, who just got off a successful tour with Four Letter Lie, On The Last Day and Secret Lives of the Freemasons, will begin touring again in January with Mayday Parade. The rest of their tour dates for the year are below.

Motion City Sountrack just wrapped up three months of touring with their sets at Bamboozle and Flipside. The band would like to thank everyone for making their headlining tour and MTVu Campus Invasion run amazing. More live footage from the "Campus Invasion" Tour has been posted at MTVu. The band is now headed to Japan, Australia, and Hawaii before making it back to the states for Warped Tour.
Race The Sun will be recording a new 4 or 5 song demo next month with David Bendeth (Killswitch Engage, Hawthorne Heights, As I Lay Dying) pre-producing it in New Jersey. Shortly after recording the demo, the band will embark on a full U.S. tour with So They Say and Sullivan. Expect more details soon.

Anberlin is now back on tour with Hawthorne Heights and will be playing in Atlantic City as well as the other scheduled tour dates. Anberlin may be back in the future to make up the dates that they missed a couple weeks ago due to having to go back home with the family.
FenixTX will be hitting UK/Europe in late April to mid-May. However, no dates or support have been confirmed 100%; as soon as the official dates are posted, we'll let you know. For those of you in US, check out the band's west coast dates with Unwritten Law and As Fast As.
The Strokes will be performing on Saturday Night Live this Saturday night, with host Peter Sarsgaarde (Kinsey, Garden State, Jarhead). Also, the band will be announcing a US tour soon which will run from March to the middle of May.
