In the January issue of Guitar World, Quinn Allman stated that the first single from The Used's third album will be "Handsome Awkward." Which Allman says "Sounds like Aerosmith got into a fight with somebody. I have no idea who, but it sounds like Stephen Tyler's gonna have a seizure. It's definitely bluesy and based off a really good guitar riff. Definitely a heavier, riffier Zepplin kind of style."

The Used's new album is tentatively scheduled for release in either February or March of 2007. The band is currently in the studio working on the record.

Reports are flying in about Microsoft's Zune. So far, it's not looking good.

Aiden will be supporting The Used in February.

The Used are hard at work on their new album which they describe as "brilliant" and "insane."

Jered Leto from 30 Seconds To Mars announced tonight at AZ Edgefest that they will be co-headlining Taste Of Chaos with The Used in North America.

Writing is going fucking amazing I'm really so stoked we have 22 songs as of today, and we are still going to write more. we were not able to do the song for crank, i was pretty bummed about that. We had some things come up that made it impossible to get done in time.read more]

Buckcherry has signed with Atlantic.

The Used will release a DVD titled, Live In Vancouver, in the near future.

Aiden have just announced they will be releasing a Hallowe'en EP on Devil's Night, October 30th 2006. Although details are currently being worked out for the release, the five-track CD will contain "a couple of new tracks, a Misfits cover and live footage." The band will also be shooting a special "Live On Devil's Night" DVD, in their hometown of Seattle, and at the London date of the Victory Tour in September. The release for the DVD is slated for early 2007.

Morrissey is boycotting Canada over its annual seal hunt.

Salt Lake City based band Broke will release their debut album The Answer, which was produced by Branden Steineckert of The Used, this summer on Maverick/Warner. Broke toured last year as part of The Used's headlining arena tour and on the inaugural run of the "Taste Of Chaos" tour.
