Meth Mouth Records is now taking pre-orders for its vinyl re-press of 90's Florida pop-punk band Discount's 1997 full length, Half Fiction. The re-press is limited to 500 copies and is expected to ship by March 1st.

Those Mockingbirds have posted pre-orders for the vinyl release of Fa Sol La, which will be out January 31st on Star Beat Music. You can purchase a copy in advance as well at the vinyl release show on January 20th at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ.
Soundscan is reporting vinyl record sales of 3.9 million units over the course of 2011, which is a 39.3 percent gain of the 2010 numbers (2.8 million). In the replies you can see a graphic of what the growth of vinyl record sales looks like in bar graph form. Thrice will release the At: Guitar Center 7-inch on Vagrant Records January 31, 2012. The 7-inch consists of twointimate acoustic tracks recorded during the band’s taping of the At: Guitar Center podcast series hosted by Nic Harcourt. The release marks the first time that Guitar Center, the world's largest retailer of musical instruments and equipment, has worked with a label to release music recorded within the walls of one of their stores. In addition to the pre-order, the 7-inch will be available for purchase at guitarcenter.com on January 31st.
